Streamline Funding, in operation since 2002, is a Texas-based private lender serving real estate investors who acquire, renovate or construct single and multi-family residential properties. Our current loan portfolio totals $155 million, with rapid growth expected.
Position Summary: .
The Streamline Funding Sales Department is responsible for generating qualified sales leads by designing and managing external company communications, corporate branding and direct lead generation. The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, proactively prospecting and nurturing new clients to support the pipeline for our sales team and their overall sales objectives. This will involve the generation of qualified leads for the sales team by following up marketing campaigns and by targeted telemarketing cold calling. The role will also include initiating and generating target market customer lists in conjunction with the sales team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Achieve monthly targets of qualified leads to pass on to the sales team by generating potential customer lists by target market and executing lead generation campaigns
• Business to business proactive lead generation and sales prospecting
• Lead and sales tracking and reporting via the company’s CRM system
• Respond quickly to prospective inquiries
• Nurture long-term prospects via scheduled follow up contact
• Targeted cold calling to senior contacts in pre-defined businesses, gather sales intelligence, handle objections, set appointments
• Provide detailed, timely, accurate and consistent briefs to the sales team upon handover of a sales lead
• Assist with preparation and attendance at trade shows and events
• Monitor competitor activity and own product strengths / weaknesses
• Drive event attendance and follow up the leads generated from events and trade shows
• Possess a full understanding of Streamline Funding’s product portfolio and the client’s business requirements so that Streamline Funding’s offerings can be maximized

• Proven experience in tele-sales, cold calling, lead generation and achieving set targets
• Self-starter with outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Ability to liaise and work with people of all levels and backgrounds

• Excellent numerical and presentation skills
• Achievement and success oriented, self-motivated
• Proficient at building industry specific, ready to target lists from external databases and repositories

• Good business English / writing skills
• Excellent MS office skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM
Desirable:
• Previous organized training in customer service / tele-sales / cold calling / telephone skills
• Previous experience using CRM
• Commercial experience of the IT, retail, supply chain or logistics industries is advantageous
